The ES 165 KX2E audio kit consists of two 6½" (165 mm) woofers with a K2 cone. Made of aramid fibre, this exclusive Focal cone promises to deliver rich and striking sound. Equipped with an aluminium/magnesium cone, the ‘M’-shaped inverted dome FRAK tweeters offer an ultra-realistic sound. The new Blue SXE speakers are based on our top selling Custom Fit SXE speaker line, however we gave it some improvements in materials used for certain components. The speaker cone is made of long structured cellulose fibres reinforced with blue titanium design coating, while the all new surround is crafted of high quality rubber. These changes led to a more accurate frequency response especially in the low and mid band frequencies and a very linear cone movement, while reducing the amount of distortion.
