The second generation of the SPC-106T6-2 has been enhanced with several technical improvements to deliver an even more impressive sound experience. The new High-Amplitude Multi-Roll (HAMR) surround allows greater cone movement, resulting in more precise bass reproduction. In addition, the vented pole structure improves motor cooling by efficiently dissipating hot air. This enables the speaker to handle higher power levels for extended periods without sound degradation.
Gold-plated flat terminals ensure optimal signal transfer and corrosion resistance, while the cast aluminum basket provides high rigidity and allows the use of larger magnets without deformation. This improvement made it possible to equip the speakers with more powerful magnets while maintaining the same mounting depth. As a result, the SPC-106T6-2 delivers deeper bass, higher power handling, and increased component durability.

Whether you are a tradesperson, a camping enthusiast, or part of a large family, this speaker system is designed for you and your T6. The SPC-106T6-2 Adventure Audio system is compatible with all Volkswagen T6 configurations (Multivan, California, Caravelle, and Transporter) and with all types of factory or aftermarket head units (except the original Dynaudio system). It is also compatible with the windshield roller blinds of the T6 California

The first thing you’ll notice about the SPC-106T6-2 is the beautifully designed stainless steel tweeter grilles in the A-pillars, which replace the original VW plastic grilles. We use an advanced chemical photo-etching process to achieve the highest level of aesthetics and acoustic performance, ensuring they look stunning from every angle—while remaining acoustically optimized and virtually transparent to the sound waves passing through them.
Quick and Easy Installation
The Alpine speaker components use only the original factory mounting locations for easy installation—and to ensure the factory system can be reinstalled at any time (ideal for leased vehicles that must be returned). All connectors are compatible with the original VW wiring harness and connectors. The entire installation can be completed in a short time using standard household tools. Die-Cast Aluminum Basket and Large Magnets
The SPC-106T6-2 features high-quality aluminum baskets that provide excellent rigidity and allow the use of heavier magnets without deformation. This enabled our engineers to install larger magnets than in previous generations while maintaining the same mounting depth.
Thanks to the vented pole core, the motor benefits from improved cooling. The vent allows hot air to escape efficiently, preventing overheating. The result? The speaker can handle higher power levels for extended periods without compromising sound quality. Additionally, the reduced thermal stress increases the longevity of the components.
Dynamic Mid-Bass Experience
The dynamic midrange drivers designed by Alpine deliver a wide frequency range that reveals the rich details of every audio track—bringing your favorite songs to life with powerful mid-bass, incredible texture, and precision. The included steel mounting rings provide an exceptionally rigid, vibration-free connection to the door frame and perfectly seal the inside of the door from moisture with the supplied silicone gaskets.

Experience the ultimate in listening pleasure by upgrading your SPC-106T6-2 speaker system with the 550-watt DSP amplifier and SPC-W84AT6-2 subwoofer for the Volkswagen T6. The DSP amplifier significantly increases the output power and dynamics of your Adventure Audio system and features vehicle-specific DSP sound settings and a plug-and-play wiring harness.
Adding the 300-watt 20 cm dual voice coil subwoofer under the passenger seat in a sealed, custom enclosure delivers rich, deep bass and a smooth, balanced overall sound experience. The subwoofer is also compatible with the swiveling passenger seat in the T6 California.
