Alpine Introduces the all-new Alpine Status sound system: using the same engineering and design concepts drawn from the third generation, Ultra High-Resolution AlpineF#1Status system, Alpine created “Alpine Status” to achieve High-Resolution Sound at a more approachable and accessible price point. The Alpine Status system is also extremely flexible: all components can be purchased and used in “stand-alone” configuration.
The HDS-990 Hi-Res Audio Media Player achieves 192kHz/24Bit playback via 3 wired USB DAC inputs or wireless Bluetooth® connection. This ensures that any high-resolution music files stored on a USB or smartphone will be reproduced at the intended spec. It is designed to work in parallel with your original radio (or existing aftermarket radio) and has therefore no radio or DAB+ tuner as well as no Bluetooth hands-free features or similar.
The Media Player includes a compact controller with buttons for basic music controls, a high-resolution color screen that displays playback data and album cover artwork, a volume knob for quick sound controls, and a separate black-box for flexible installation in the vehicle. High-Resolution 4x 50W amplifier output, high-performance RCA outputs and an optical TOSLINK & Coax ports allow for flexible system building with the HDP-D90 Digital Signal Processor (DSP) Amplifier.
Alpine DVR-F790 Connected Dash Cam with Docking Function
The Alpine DVR-F790 Connected Dash Cam with docking function is an excellent choice for drivers that value high quality video recordings in 1080p and often cross boarders to countries that do not allow dash cams (for example Austria). The DVR-F790 can be simply detached from its docking station at the push of a button, while the dash dock and its wires stay in place at your windshield.
When connected to an internet device such as your smartphone, vehicle WiFi or pocket WiFi the dash cam can store recorded footage in the cloud, where you can download and review videos at any time from your smartphone. You can even view live footage of the dash cam and see the vehicle’s location on a digital map.
Parking surveillance mode is automatically activated when you turn off your ignition and captures footage when a motion or impact is detected, so you have video evidence of hit-and-runs while you are away from your vehicle. You can even activate push notifications on your smartphone to be notified in case of an impact larger than 3G.
To ensure excellent recordings at day and night, the DVR-F790 is loaded with amazing technologies: for example, Super Night Vision 3.0 paired with HDR ensures recording of important details even at night, while dewarping video technology ensures that all front footage is recorded with minimal distortion.
The DVR-F790 also includes driver assistance functions, such as lane departure warnings, proximity alert and others, as well as fixed speed and red light camera warnings.
You can further expand your DVR-F790 with a wide variety of additional cameras, including a regular rear camera, infra-red exterior and interior cameras or a side camera. The dash-cam includes a 2nd recording channel, but you can even extend it up to 4 additional cameras using the Alpine RVX-100 Camera Extension Hub.
